About

Ashlin Samples — the eye behind Visual Samples.

Photo, film, and aerial media for the people who sell property for a living. One shooter, one standard.

I learned this work in Knoxville, Tennessee — HDR interiors for listing agents, aerials over river bluffs and lake coves, listing films, and the part nobody photographs: every file sized, named, and ordered for MLS before the agent ever opens the folder.

Now I’m based in Sarasota, working roughly a two-hour radius across the Gulf Coast. New water, new light — barrier-island dusk behaves differently than a river valley’s, and I’ve metered enough of both to know the difference matters. Projects beyond that range are welcome; travel fees may apply depending on the project.

One person handles your listing start to finish. I book it, I shoot it, I edit it, and your photos are back within 24 hours. Aerial work is planned around FAA Part 107 rules — airspace checked before a flight is ever promised. No handoffs, no “our team.” If something’s wrong, you email me and I fix it.

The portfolio is real client work, labeled honestly. Nothing staged, nothing borrowed.

01

HDR interiors

Bracketed exposures, hand-blended where it counts — windows that hold the view, whites that stay white.

02

Drone aerials

Every flight planned around FAA Part 107 rules — airspace checked before an aerial is ever promised.

03

4K film

Stabilized gimbal walk-throughs and vertical reels cut for the platforms agents actually post to.

04

MLS-ready delivery

Files sized, named, and ordered so filing takes minutes — full-resolution set alongside.

Process

Shoot. Edit. Delivered in 24 hours.

No pipeline, no vendor queue — one operator from the first bracket to the finished gallery.

    Shoot

Photo, film, and aerial handled in one visit, one operator. I walk the property, read the light, and work the plan — not a checklist.

  2. 02

    Edit

Every frame graded by the person who shot it. Verticals straight, color true, windows held — no outsourced batch processing.

  3. 03

Gallery link in your inbox the next day: full-resolution files plus the MLS-sized set, named and ordered for filing.

The craft

Light is the product.

Working the window light between setups. The best frame in a room is usually the one you wait for — the craft is knowing how long.

The kit at rest — illustrative imagery, studio-created.

Portfolio and case studies show real client work; illustrative imagery elsewhere is studio-created.
