Licensing

Who can use the media, and for how long.

Three licenses, no fine-print games. This page is the plain-English version; the binding text lives in the terms.

Listing media

Book any listing package and the media is licensed for that listing — MLS, Zillow and the portals, your social, print, and your brokerage’s marketing of the property. MLS filing is handled: files arrive sized and named right, ready to upload.

What it covers
Marketing that listing: MLS, portals, social, print, brokerage promotion
How long it lasts
The life of the listing and your marketing of it
Relicensing fees

Comes with

Short-term rental — lifetime rights

STR owners get burned by relicensing games: switch platforms, rebrand, and suddenly the photos cost money again. Not here. STR packages include lifetime usage rights — the media is yours to use for the life of the property, wherever you list it.

Who holds the license
You — the owner or operator
What it covers
Running the rental: Airbnb, Vrbo, your direct-booking site, your ads
How long it lasts
Lifetime — through rebrands, relists, and re-platforms
Relicensing fees
None. Ever. It’s in writing.
What it doesn’t cover
Reselling or sublicensing the files to third parties
Comes with
STR Essentials and STR Pro

Commercial

Hotels, multifamily, and senior living projects vary too much for one license to fit. Usage, term, and territory are scoped in the quote, in writing, before the shoot — so marketing, ownership, and management all know exactly what they can run.

Who holds the license
Named in the quote
What it covers
Scoped per project
How long it lasts
Defined in the quote
Relicensing fees
Defined up front
What it doesn’t cover
Anything outside the written scope
Comes with
Every commercial quote

One line of necessary formality: Visual Samples retains copyright in the media, and you get the usage rights above — the standard structure for professional media licensing. The binding license text lives in the terms.
