Remote and seasonal buyers. The Gulf Coast’s buyer pool skews heavily out-of-state and seasonal — people making shortlists from Ohio in January. A 3D tour is the difference between “looks nice” and “I’ve mentally moved in”; it filters out the wrong buyers and hardens the right ones before a single showing.

Is a Zillow 3D tour different from a Matterport tour?
Same idea, different ecosystems. Both produce a navigable 3D walkthrough; Zillow’s capture feeds Zillow’s listing experience natively (and qualifies a listing for Showcase), while Matterport is a standalone product you embed anywhere. For most Gulf Coast resale listings, the Zillow-native tour is the pragmatic choice because that’s where the buyers already are. If your marketing plan needs a platform-independent tour — common in commercial leasing — say so and it’s scoped accordingly.
